StrykerOS or StrykerOSS? Android preparation explained
Looking for StrykerOS? The Android project covered here is StrykerOSS. It is an application suite with a Linux environment, rather than a replacement Android operating system.
What we prepare
The StrykerOSS project describes a mobile pentest suite with a Debian ARM64 environment and an Android interface. Its documented rooted workflow uses a rooted device, with Android 7.0 listed as the minimum SDK. Our preparation scope is the agreed rooted configuration and selected tools.
One service across eligible Android devices
Our £99 StrykerOSS preparation service includes agreed rooting on your eligible device. It does not require the phone to appear on the Full NetHunter kernel list. We check the exact model, Android build, ARM64 environment and free storage before work. A handset is not included. If the agreed eligible configuration cannot be prepared, the service is refunded.
Some functions still depend on hardware
The project documents external Wi-Fi adapters for wireless functions and kernel support for USB gadget functions. These are additional requirements, not a reason to restrict the base app to one handset list. Describe the functions you want so the preparation scope can identify what is included and what needs an accessory or kernel check.
A configuration you can maintain
Keep the installed release, Android build and recovery instructions with the device. A stable lab setup also needs a backup routine and a record of changes. If you prefer a supplied phone, request a quote that includes the handset model, condition, storage and intended StrykerOSS configuration.
